For as long as he could remember, Archie had seen the colors surrounding people matching their moods. Red glows showed anger, blue was sadness, and yellow showed the sunshiny happiness that he longed for. There were subtle variations, of course, all your purples and greens and oranges, but for the most part their glows landed in the main three. He stood, watching his office building, the multitude of windows giving the occupants stellar views, but also giving him the tone of the work day. He had seen the email about layoffs, too. It was going to be a hard day.
