The kids were all screaming with delight, adrenaline still pumping from the twists and turns, lurches and lunges, but all Tony felt was sick. It had been his idea to ride it, fueled by childhood memories of having the same reaction. He had remembered always getting off the ride full of energy, much like the kids. He regretted eating that whole funnel cake as he climbed out and clutched the railing. Did they see his face had gone pale. It was something about the inner ear aging, right? Cheers of, “Again! Again!” made Tony regret the corn dog even more.
