It was quiet. The snow drifted softly down around her as she walked along the empty road that led to their house. It was so peaceful and serene...this culdesac was usually busy with families and cars...today if felt like a desolate oasis covered in wintery goodness. Ella wished that it could stay this way, but it rarely snowed here...almost never. So she stroller along in her fleeced lines jacket with her hands in the pockets enjoying the moment while it lasted. Tomorrow it would likely be gone her neighborhood would be back it's busy and chaotic usual.
