I rubbed my eyes I knew it was foolish, but I forgot They swelled shut like closing time all punters kicked to the curb The pain was excruciating stabs of never-ending regret throbbing IDIOT IDIOT IDIOT They say when you lose a sense the others become stronger The people who said that never rubbed pepper juice in their eye Hard to tell if your hearing is up when the only sound is your own sobbing when you can only smell regret taste stupidity feel pain But hey it could be worse At least I didn't go take a piss after
