I took longer to fabricate the envelope than it did to manufacture enough fuel for the burner, which surprised me. The books we'd found in the underground cache were incredibly helpful in this, and it felt like a miracle that we had found them. After everything collapsed so suddenly, it became suddenly and horribly obvious to most of us that we had no idea how things were really made. Without the global supply chain, society fell apart almost overnight. But we can finally leave. The winds are in our favor, and I've heard there is still civilization out there somewhere.
