“Look at the sky,” said Noc. She walked down the path without hesitation. “Forget that, look up ahead. Two lighthouses? Will this maze ever make sense?” Sim trudged along behind. “Maybe this is where our path splits,” Noc said. Sure, he had been useful a few times, but she had solved most of the puzzles. She could do this on her own. They reached the two structures, one old and functional, the other newer and shiny. “Which way?” asked Sim. Noc only took a second to choose the taller. “See you at the end,” she said and she entered alone.
