The music clung to the air all sultry and sweet. Her head on his shoulder and his hands around her waste. They rocked to the slow driven rhythm. When they'd finally stopped running it was at a tiny little inn ran by the sweetest elderly lady called Nan. They didn't need to tell her their story. She knew on first sight that the weary young couple had been through rough times. But...as any grandmother would, she welcomed them in, offered them food, and a place to sleep. In return, they worked in the little cafe inside just the inn.
