“Where is this?” Helen held up the photo of the crowded market on train tracks, her grandfather in the corner much younger than now. Grandma giggled. “That’s a market in Thailand. Your grandpa was fascinated because a train runs through it several times a day. He tried to find out how that worked.” She giggled again. “Why is that funny?” asked Helen. “Grandpa was so lost in conversation he didn’t pay attention to the train. When he finally saw it he ran in front of it for two full minutes before he thought to just get out of the way.”
