When they were children and the world was full of possibilities, they formed the World Explorers Club, spending their weekends exploring the forest that stood between their neighborhooods. Their mission was to map the world, and they accomplished their goal over one summer. Undeterred by the sudden lack of purpose, they created the Ultimate Wild Forest Run, and races were held from the bridge on Beecher Lane to the Miller’s barn. It’s been years since they ran it, years since they were together, but chance allowed a reunion and they weren’t about to give up a chance for another race.
