When the big tent went up around the Millerson’s place the town was all full of gossip. Were they throwing a party? Whispers went out from house to house, shop to shop, everyone looking for their invitation, but none were received. Okay, then, a private party? That’s fine. No one really liked the Millersons anyway. Then the animal shapes showed up, silhouettes promising the smell of boiled peanuts, cotton candy, and horse manure. But no animalistic sounds erupted from within. No lion roars or trumpeting elephants Turned out it was for asbestos removal. Townsfolk stayed well away after that discovery.
