magisternihil's 100-word story for December 26, 2025

Oskar couldn’t remember the last time he had a night like that. First, drinks after work, then he came out of the restroom and the pub crawl had moved on without him (accidentally, he hoped), a spilled drink, an angry man at the bar, and a quick run. It all happened so quickly he struggled to remember what came next. There was dancing, more drinking, a giraffe, a stolen snowmobile, falling through some ice, clothing from lost and found. He hoped this train was heading toward home. If not, he’d just have to accept that the adventure wasn’t over yet.
