"You're here on a scholarship. That covers everything except accommodation, food and transport to and from campus. You need a bicycle to get around this town...most-affordable mode of transport," the Dean said nonchalantly. "Thank you, Sir," I muttered before walking out of the Dean's office. A veil of desperation hung over my face. I just paid two months' deposit at a backpackers' hostel - all I could afford! I walked across the campus and starred at the dozens of bicycles lined up along the sidewalk, many secured to racks or leaning against trees. If I could just hop onto one...
