I like to listen to cacophonies pick out their secret parts those words meant to be lost in the crowd but I find them steal them pocket them as treasures Sometimes the sound is complete solid thorough and all I hear is the thrum of my heart in pace with the waves of sound I close my eyes the katzenjammer morphs to waves on the beach lapping with chaotic eagerness workers in a hive filling pots as they sing birds on the street their avian chorus competing with blaring horns that bring me back to here and now to noise
