Gabriel conceived the perfect plan. He bought the old building for a song, took care of all the renovations, then opened it up to rental to “Acrobats, Magicians, and Performers Occult. Animals welcome!” The place filled quickly, each apartment claimed within a week of the ad hitting the paper. Gabriel was beyond thrilled. For him it would be like the circus coming to live in his building. Trouble was, performers just wanted a place to settle down and not be in the spotlight. In the end, they were all perfect tenants. Never a single noise complaint, to Gabriel’s great disappointment.
