This is it, man. This is the life. Just me versus the elements. Wind and cold can’t hurt me, I’m protected by layers and skills finely honed through months of practice. They told me I was foolish going out these temperatures, but once I get inside my tent and get snuggled in I may as well be at home in the central heat. I AM a little concerned about the sniffing I heard the past three nights around my campsite. And that feeling I’m being watched. That’s a little eerie, if I’m honest. But you can’t beat this mountain air!
