"Marie? Where are you?" my grandma's voice crackled from upstairs. I could not believe it! I was devastated when she stopped talking two months ago - she rang the table bell if she needed anything. I was very close to her - spending school holidays and any other holiday with her. She had a cute sense of humour - think I inherited that from her. After these two months, hearing her call me made me speed up to her room-excited! "Here's the key...it's all yours!" she mumbled and pressed it into my palm. Then her head slumped... "Grandma??? No!!!" bitterness engulfed me...
