The four of us lugged Tommy’s dad’s old broken chair through the woods to finally plunk it down in the weeds, the best addition to our hideout. George dropped it too hard though and it broke, but we could still sit in it. It was a throne, a judge’s chair, the captain’s station of the Airship Endless, and finally the Storyteller’s Seat, but we soon grew tired of it. It wasn’t that comfortable anyway because George broke it. Then summer ended and we all went our separate ways, the chair now a monument to our brief rule over the woods
