magisternihil's 100-word story for February 13, 2026

It’s all done, packed away in either my car to go home with us, Tat’s car to go to charity, the massive rental bin outside we had to get once we saw the full magnitude of the task. It’s amazing how many needless things a person can accumulate in a lifetime. “Just get rid of it all,” Aunt Arlene told us. “I’m done with it all.” We did get rid of quite a few things, but of course we kept a bunch too, to keep in our attic until our kids have to sort it. That’s how it goes, right?
