Mrs_Julian's 100-word story for March 2, 2026
Mrs_Julian wrote the following micro-story on Hectalex on March 2, 2026. Each story on Hectalex is inspired by a daily visual prompt and must be exactly 100 words.
The sun sits low on the horizon, flooding the scene with golden light. It dominates the sky, almost dissolving the boundary between sea and air. The vastness blurs the lines between sea and land. The sailboats are small against the vastness of the ocean and sky. They seem to move steadily, unhurried, guided not by force but by wind and intention. The shimmering path of light across the water subtly leads the eye toward the horizon. A metaphor for hope or purpose; even when the destination is distant or unclear, there is light enough to guide the way. Peacefulness reigns!
