“Lettuce, chard, tomatoes, and a cucumber.” See, I didn’t have to write it down as long as I kept repeating it to myself. “Lettuce, chard, tomatoes, and a cucumber.” Oops, mind the dog. What was that song from earlier? The one that went rum-ta-tum-tum-diddle-bip-rum-tum? It’s stuck in my head. That man has a strange head. Oh, it’s a child on his shoulders. Here’s the booth. “Lettuce, tomatoes, a cucumber, and—“ Is that a person selling used books? Excellent. I wonder if they have any Vonnegut. I think I got everything. Time to peruse the books. I think that’s everything anyway.
