“What are you watching?” Gena set down the two mugs and slumped into the spare seat. Wade didn’t look away from the screen, yet he reached out and somehow picked up the right mug. “Footage from outside the restaurant last August.” Gena shook her head. “Still looking for a connection? We’ve been through all of—“ “No, that sloppy intern went through it,” Wade grumbled, then he quickly hit a key to stop the video, rolled the ball back a few turns to rewind, and pointed triumphantly. “There!” Gena leaned forward and laughed. “I guess we should pay our interns better.”
