"It's always the same faces, the same route...every single day," Lily thought to herself as she scanned the subway car. She'd been working downtown for about four years and had been taking this same subway every day since she started. At first, she put her earbuds in and listened to music as she read a book, but as time passed she start to realize no one new ever road in this car. Who were they all? What did they do? She was never brave enough to talk to any of them...maybe someday she'd find the courage...just maybe.
