The thing about living here is even in the off season, it’s still gorgeous. I mean, look at that view! Ocean as far as the eye can see! This layer cake world I live in draws in the punters like nobody’s business, people desperate to flee their lives, if only for a while, and all I have to do is smile and serve them themed drinks and agree with them that everything is perfect. Why would I argue? I live here. And then they go home, and the island finds peace, if only for a little while. Now that’s paradise.
