He hoped she would come. The note he left made it clear that he needed to talk to her. The only question was: did she need to talk to him? When she had walked out of the office after telling that curmudgeon Lester where he could stick his new rules and regulations, Mitch had seen his last chance slip through his fingers. She wouldn't be coming in every day, each one surely the one where he would tell her how he felt. He was a fool. There was no way she would- "Mitch?" he heard, and his courage rushed forward.
