"Is this the end? What's to become of me?" Welby thought to himself. There was a dull ache at the back of his head and be found himself struggling to sit up. There was a lot of thick, ethereal fog all around him. He wasn't sure where he was or where his companions were...but there was something he knew he should remember. Somewhere in the nothingness a shrill, high pitched sound echoed eerily. He became suddenly aware of the shadowy trees that loomed above him. This couldn't be real. Then he touched his tenders scalp and wondered what happened.
