“Look at this. I think you’ll agree she may need some help.” Ms. Boyd said. “It’s a drawing. I don’t see what the problem is,” answered Thom. He looked at Abby who studied the picture intently. “When I asked her what it was, she said ‘He’s here to eat everything’,” answered Ms. Boyd. “I would say a child drawing a creature bent on—“ “It’s a rocking horse named Smedley,” said Abby. “He’s a very hungry horsey because he’s made of wood.” Ms. Boyd looked at the picture again, and creepy gave way to cute. “Ah,” was all she could say.
