The trees are beautiful around the governor’s mansion. They were planted specifically because of how they cover the landscape with a beautiful layer of color, distracting from the poorly-maintained sidewalks and roads. But no amount of decorative embellishment can cover his corruption. Nothing will hide what he’s done. Ned’s going to prove it. He cranks up the leaf blower, begins creating whirlwinds of lavender and lilac. The guard comes out to confront him, demanding he cease the noise and disruption. That’s all the distraction they need for Ned’s accomplice to slip inside. Soon they will have the evidence they need.
