“What do you think?” Dwayne spread his arms to present the entirety of the building. Ken shrugged as he took everything in: a ratty futon that was clearly Dwayne’s bed, a tiny tv on a milk crate, and a groaning dorm fridge in the corner. “It’s a shed, D. What should I think?” “Not a shed, a ‘tiny house’,” responded Dwayne. The air unit started to rattle and he pounded it on the side until the noise stopped. “I even have fancy lighting.” Leave it to D to get things just shy of right, thought Ken. “It’s great,” he lied.
