JKWriter wrote the following micro-story on Hectalex on May 4, 2026. Each story on Hectalex is inspired by a daily visual prompt and must be exactly 100 words.

As her fingers sailed across the keyboard, the story she was writing filled her mind with the most amazing imaginings of worlds only her brain could come up with. When she told her stories, there was both whimsy and catharsis as the parts of her healed with each word that was transformed into fictional tales of either life's experiences and fictional characters that were observations of human character and personalities. She created places and even new things while relying on the lessons she had learned or the triumphs she had celebrated. She could mourn and rejoice with each word written.
