“Are you seeing this?” Noc’s usual pensive frown darkened into a scowl. “This can’t be good.” She took a step to the left, then one to the right, studying the path ahead. “Of all the things we’ve seen, THIS worries you?” snorted Sim. “Overlapping scenes, each presenting a possible solution but likely both interfering with the process. We’ll have to tread carefully until we’re through the breach.” Sim took a step back. “I just thought it was some cool architecture.” He looked terrified. “What do we do.” Noc shrugged. “Run. Don’t stop. And for gods’ sake don’t scream. Ready? Go!”
