Two mugs. One spoon. The coffee is cold. Just like my heart. God, I miss her. As I read the chicken scratch on the napkin across the table, I fight to keep my expression neutral. I suppose this is my fault for swiping right on a self-proclaimed “artist.” I hear him come back from the bathroom, his Docs treading heavily on the worn coffee shop floor. “This is cool, girls usually don’t want to write with me,” he said, tossing his bangs and sliding into the booth. “Come back to my place? I have crunchyroll.” I’m switching back to jocks.
