We have to moor at a marina for a month to have some repairs done to Doodle-Loo, and I’m not looking forward to it at all. I’ve gotten so accustomed to waking up with a different beautiful view each week or two, a field of sheep here, a rustic bridge by a quaint village there. Peace and tranquility in the open. It’s just one month. I can already hear the canals calling, the tow paths stretching out languorously in either direction as the drooping trees kiss the surface and whisper “Welcome!” and life moves by at four miles per hour.
