Jaime sat placidly in his cup watching the world go by. The evening sun was casting long shadows over the spot on the deck where he lived. It had been a wonderful summer living there after being a tadpole in the pond down the hill. He'd searched high and low for a place to park and enjoy the bugs where he wouldn't have to compete with one of his hundreds of siblings. Now that it was August, he was going to have to head back down to the family pond before the winter was upon him. He'd miss this place.
