“Hang on, it’s here somewhere?” said Freddy. He was running his fingertips down the wall of cassette tapes. She really shouldn’t have said he was lying. She was just teasing him, but now he was a man with a mission. “Uncle Freddy, if you say you were in a band, then—“ “Aha! Here it is!” He shouted triumphantly and held one up. He slipped the cassette out and handed her the case, a hand-drawn label proclaiming it “Terminal Prairie, Greatest Hits, Vol 7.” As the music began to play, she realized why he had never brought it up before now.
