No, dear, don't panic. They are just being silly. That egg man isn't falling. They made the balloon look that way on purpose. Well, no, I see what you mean. I can see how it would make you a little bit sad. After all, not even all the king's horses and all the king's men could... I know, it's strange isn't it? The poem never mentions that he's actually an egg, but -- Well, it's a riddle, you know? You can't put an egg back together. A cannon? I've never heard that, but I suppose political allegory being what it is....
