Geuszey wrote the following micro-story on Hectalex on May 9, 2025. Each story on Hectalex is inspired by a daily visual prompt and must be exactly 100 words.

Tonight's event must be perfect. Each glass must be spotlessly polished and all tableware pristine. Our host will accept nothing less. I will tour the room at 5. Our first guests will arrive at 5.30. The master has selected a 1961 Petrus from his private collection. Glasses must be kept charged. The chateaubriand will be served rare, and obviously NO garlic in the mushroom duxelle. Sunset is at 6.37, so the second set of guests will arrive before 7. By then, the food should be thoroughly marinated. Ensure that all doors stay locked until the feast is over.
