magisternihil's 100-word story for June 10, 2026

It’s good to have an office pet. They’re great for stress relief, they defuse conflicts, and it’s nice to have a cuddly companion who likes to come and say hello. Everyone agrees. But not everyone has a Boris. He showed up on our doorstep one morning, probably dropped off by a person who doesn’t like cats, we thought. But no, they didn’t like Boris. The little jerk likes to trip us up by winding through our feet. I swear he laughed last time I fell. Little snickering furball. And don’t get me started on what he does with the copier.
