joeislove's 100-word story for June 10, 2026

The main theory around the copy shop is that he likes it on top of the copier because it gets so warm. Cats are, after all, famous for their love of flopping on top of warm things. Makes me think their lizard brains are still pretty dominant. But I know that's not the real reason. I've lived with a lot of cats, and I've learned to read their body language. Gus is bored and lonely. He sees us staring at this copier most of the day. He wants that same attention. But when he's up there, we mostly just chuckle.
