magisternihil's 100-word story for June 16, 2026

I am so dead. The one rule, the big one, that Aunt Mavis gave before she left was “Do not, under any circumstances, let Monty out,” and now the sneaky little jerk is on the roof. What do these things eat, anyway? I don’t even know what kind of monkey it is, just that if you let him sit on your shoulder long enough, he’ll pee down your back, which makes you need to change your shirt and not realize you didn’t latch the door behind you. Wily little thing probably planned it that way. She’s going to kill me.
