The boats bobbled gently on the water. The children had absconded with all of the island school's dingies and had rowed them over to the neighboring island to see the new store that was opening that morning. They hoped to get in, get some treats and make it back before Teacher rung the bell that told them it was time to start the day. They had been planning this for weeks, ever since they saw the first signs of it on their last field trip day. It was very exciting, but would they make it back before Teacher found out?
