Ding ding! Can I have a few words, please? No, scratch that out. Merriam-Webster Dictionary defines- Definitely not. Okay, everyone will be eating cake. Then I stand up, pick up the water glass, because my regular glass will have the third or fourth refill of wine. And I’ll just… tell her how I feel. That the newly-wed husband is lucky, maybe too lucky. But I could have made her happy, as cliche as it sounds. Forget the glass, I should just grab the steak knife instead. I’m sure she’d forgive me. He doesn’t deserve her. And everyone’s luck runs out.
