Evie took her job as flower girl very seriously. Aunt Cora had asked her to do it, and she only had to consider it for three whole seconds before she agreed. She wore the pretty dress. She walked the way they told her. She made sure the flower petals were even. She did perfectly. They said so. The flower tiara was her favorite, and she continued to wear it even after the ceremony. She wore it for months, until it fell apart, but she never stopped spreading petals in her mind. "Flower Girl for life," she was heard to say.
