Shattered Pulled apart piece by piece Parts once fused together rending corrupting repulsive now where once they joined beautifully joyfully playful and powerful The jagged line cuts divides the landscape tears trees from the ground sends creatures racing away bleary-eyed tearful fearful of the doom that comes Say something Say anything hurl a line across pull with me to bring the pieces together tie them off with heartstrings and effort But no it is done it is over it is forever broken and you stand expressionless and mute over the body you have broken and the heart you have devoured.
