I looked at the old time-telling device, wondering how humans ever managed to do anything before the Great Awakening II. Who has the time and patience to not know everything the second you think about it? Salmon recipe, boom. How many liters in two quarts. The answer is in my head before I finish the question. As I plan the night’s dinner, my boots kick across the rubble. Discarded dictionaries. Faceless encyclopedias. No laptops necessary when the search engine is in your brain. It makes digging in the coal mines really entertaining. I just hate when the internet goes out.
