Yeah, I took a nibble out of a moth once. What’s it to you? I was hungry, she was nearby. She took a big bite in return. It was only fair. I told her she tasted like shadows and dust and the air before it rains somethin’ fierce. She said I tasted like hot ashes and the ideologies of a man who’s never been told ‘no’. I get postcards sometimes, on letters chewed out of leaves. She says flying hurts a bit now but that’s the price you pay for getting to know another person. There’s never a return address.
