Neighbors packed in like sardines lives stacked sorted divided by thin walls giving aural glimpses hints at perversions anger joy shy glances in the hallways sometimes a kind word hold the elevator which floor nice day we're having ooh, it is a hot one out there that's some rain, eh? never does a person tear open their chest pull out their heart and shove it in your face THIS IS ALL I AM AND ALL I EVER WILL BE! blood dripping on the floor as the elevator dings this is mine see you tomorrow sorry about the fright good day
