Legends told of nymphs chased by men and satyrs cursed by their plea for escape to become trees things of beauty but imprisoned held to the earth rendered mere objects still so they stood waited and wished and wished and wished that the world would change dissolve the old ways and embrace the new release them from their prisons see them vindicated only it took too long minds twisted corrupted fixated only on revenge filled with hate so strong the curse dissipated They're coming now freed by hate fed by vengeance no one will ever stand in their way again
