Nobody ever goes up there. Obviously we all see the lights moving around at night, but nobody mentions it. Sometimes a tourist will ask about it, but since our local dialect is pretty obscure, it's easy to pretend we just don't understand them. Pitchforks and torches? Sure, we did that. First time about three hundred years ago, then every 25 or 30 after that for a while. Finally we just bombed the main road. Figured they'd starve, but apparently not. I don't like to think about what's keeping them going, but they don't come to town anymore and that's enough.
