No longer content with the ordinary instruments she had learned on, Akiko began her search for something better. Testing her bow against thousands over the course of years, she refined her taste, refined her search. Yes, it should be a well-aged specimen, for the richest sound, but in the end adding modern tweaks: a fretboard composed of ebony formed over carbon fiber, titanium key pegs. Always seeking the next peak, the next enhancement, finally achieving her vision of the final and ultimate version. Satisfied, she smiled. Laid her bow across the strings. Time for a bit of the old ultra-violins.
