Hide's 100-word story for May 25, 2025

I’m thinking about drowning my boyfriend. That’s all. No story. There’s the ice. There’s the cave his body could float into. I’m sure a polar bear would really enjoy a boyfriend-cicle. We tried couples therapy. I’ve explored every avenue. The solution I see is a watery death. I don’t mean that, probably. I’m just tired of trying to explain a million things. Like how to say thank you. Or how to fish. Those small things that just really wear you down, you know? Life is hard when you’re monogamous. And also a penguin. A beautiful penguin with a dumb boyfriend.
